Educational Mission of the Computer Science and Engineering Program
The educational mission of the Computer Science and Engineering Program
at UC Irvine is to provide students with comprehensive,
interdisciplinary training in computer science and engineering. This is
accomplished by developing and offering a curriculum that integrates the
fundamentals of computer science, both hardware and software, and the
application of engineering concepts, techniques, and methods to computer
systems engineering and design. Program Educational Objectives:
Graduates of the program will
(1) engage in professional practice of
computer systems engineering and software systems engineering;
(2)
promote the development of innovative systems and solutions using
hardware and software integration;
(3) promote design, research and
implementation of products and services in the field of Computer Science
& Engineering through strong communication, leadership and
entrepreneurial skills.

Educational Mission of the Civil Engineering Program
The educational mission of the Civil Engineering undergraduate program
is to provide students with an multidisciplinary curriculum that is
fundamental, yet broad and flexible, to produce graduates who are
well-grounded in mathematical, scientific, and technical knowledge; have
the ability to analyze, evaluate, and design civil engineering systems;
have the ability to communicate effectively; have had meaningful
opportunities for undergraduate research; and who have acquired an
understanding and appreciation for global and societal issues and are
thus prepared for a career path toward leadership in industry,
government, and academia. Program Educational Objectives:Program Educational Objectives:
Graduates of the Civil Engineering program will (1) establish a Civil
Engineering career in industry, government, or academia and achieve
professional licensure as appropriate; (2) demonstrate excellence and
innovation in engineering problem solving and design in a global and
societal context; (3) commit to lifelong learning and professional
development to stay current in technology and contemporary issues Queries :- Mr. D.K.Nath (HOD) :- 09424129705 Mr. Ashish Gomasta :- 08109129899

What is Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering?Society
relies on Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering for
breakthroughs in applications such as satellites, next generation mobile
phones, air-traffic control, the Internet etc.
Telecommunication systems are designed by telecommunication engineers.
Early inventors in the field include Elisha Gray, Guglielmo Marconi and
John Logie Baird. In recent times, optical fibre has radically improved
the bandwidth available for intercontinental communication,
facilitating a faster and richer Internet experience. And, digital
television has eliminated effects such as snowy pictures and ghosting.
Telecommunication remains an important part of world economy. The
industry’s revenue is placed at just under 3 percent of the gross world
product.
Career in Electronics and Telecommunication EngineeringEmployment
opportunities for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers are
growing rapidly. The list of employers includes manufacturers of radio,
television, audio/visual, broadcasting and receiving equipments,
hardware and associated software including computer systems, interfaces,
security devices, data concentration, data transmission, signaling,
satellite and radio communications and telephone equipment. Graduate
also work in service organizations that provide broadcasting,
consulting, data communications, entertainment, custom manufacturing,
research and development, and system support.

Educational Mission of the Mechanical Engineering Program
The Mechanical Engineering program delivers an educational program of study
that prepares its graduates to become intellectual leaders in industry, government,
and academia. Graduates of our programs are grounded in scientific, mathematical,
and technical knowledge through coursework that keeps pace with current relevant
technologies; they have developed the ability to analyze, synthesize, and design
engineering systems through their immersion in the problem-based activities of this
research university; and, by means of general education courses, they have enhanced
their ability to communicate and have acquired an understanding and appreciation for
other areas of human intellectual achievement.
Program Educational Objectives: graduates of the
program will have the professional and scientific education that allows
them to be successful as career engineers and in the most demanding
graduate programs. Specifically, they will be able to
(1) function in
professional environments in industry, government, and academia applying
and building upon engineering science knowledge, problem-solving
skills, and communication skills;
(2) function as members of teams and
in leadership roles applying ethical standards including the ASME code
of ethics within and beyond traditional Mechanical Engineering
disciplines; and
(3) remain current with technology and contemporary
scientific and societal issues, and consequently improve skills and
knowledge through a lifelong process of learning Queries :- Mr. Gajendra Sahu (HOD) :- 09893960976
